Lisa did my hair and makeup for my wedding in October of 2020. I had never had my hair or makeup professionally done before and I was a little anxious to have someone try and bring my vision to life. Lisa beyond delivered. Most brides want a classic, natural look and I wanted a bold eye and a bold lip as well as rhinestones. She literally brought my dream face to life and then styled my hair EXACTLY how I had envisioned. I wanted an updo that had more rhinestones in it, that wouldn’t fall apart by me just walking.
My hair stayed in its place until I took it out. She even sent me on my way with some lipstick (in case mine wore off a bit) for touch ups before the ceremony. I was super impressed with Lisa and felt so pretty thanks to her!

Lisa is THE BEST makeup/hair stylist I’ve ever worked with. She made me look like a princess for my wedding day. She gave me a glamorous whimsical look, which wasn’t too over-the-top, so I still looked like a classy bride, but with my own unique signature. I felt so special. We did my hair/makeup trial the night before, which was really helpful in refining my look for the big day. My face and hair were flawless. My mom, sister, mother-in-law, even husband had beauty treatments from Lisa as well and everyone was overjoyed with her artistry and care. She’s worth every penny. I used Lisa as my hair and makeup artist for my wedding ceremony in August 2020. Due to Covid my husband and I had to cancel all of our original plans and decided to elope to Tahoe. Lisa was one of the best decisions I made! I was a bit nervous about my hair, girl problems with a bad cowlick and frizzy hair. Lisa took the time to listen and my hair turned out better than anyone who had ever touched it before. With my make up, I wanted a natural look. I don’t normally wear much make up and I never felt more beautiful on my wedding day. She again focused on the areas of my concern, sub spots, etc and her level of detail with foundation and concealer was amazing! She custom did everything for my skin type and conditions!

Lisa was AMAZING with both my hair and makeup for my elopement. She is clearly an incredibly experienced professional with all the supplies and the ability to handle any situation. I must have emailed her 6 times and each response was ‘don’t worry, I can handle that (or cover that or make that happen, etc). A lot of people thought I was crazy booking a MUA for my destination wedding without a trial first. Lisa’s work on Instagram and her site was enough for me to feel confident in my decision, but after the very first e-mail with her I knew I had nothing to worry about. She was so accommodating – found us a second artist last minute and was so so so patient as we dealt with possible venue changes due to county ordinances, the Caldor fires and more! The day of the wedding we all felt so at ease and comfortable getting ready with her. Everyone felt so confident with their looks and I think that’s part of why our pictures came out so good. You can just see how good we all felt! As for me, the bride, my look was everything I wanted and more. I looked/felt like myself, but just turned up a notch. Lisa was able to enhance my features exactly how I wanted without me looking like a totally different person. Not to mention my make-up and hair were perfect all night long! I can never thank her enough for being so patient and making us all feel so beautiful.

Lisa is excellent! I am so happy that she did the makeup and hair for my wedding. I have never looked that good! She was able to make me look glammed up but in a natural way. I feel like some stylist tend to do prom hair and makeup, but not Lisa. She is a true professional that brings a classy elegance with a modern twist.
She also worked on the other members in my party.
What is truly exceptional about Lisa is that she was able to make everyone love how they looked as well. This was extremely difficult because this included people with very different style preferences-to put into reference, she styled individuals from 20 year olds to 70 year olds.
Another great aspect of Lisa was her personality. She is kind, personable, flexible, and brings a sense of calm to a busy day.
She fit right into our group and made the day more enjoyable. She also has a lot of experience working weddings and was able to help us with other parts of the day like putting on my vail and taping my dress down.
I would definitely have her style me again. She is truly the best! You cannot go wrong with Lisa!
